The Golden State Warriors have secured free agent forward Kyle Anderson with a three-year, $27 million contract, according to sources informed ESPN on Tuesday.

In a move facilitated by a sign-and-trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors are acquiring Anderson in exchange for a future second-round pick swap and cash considerations, sources confirmed. Utilizing a Traded Players Exception stemming from Klay Thompson's departure, Golden State finalized the deal.

Sources also indicated that the agreement includes a nonguaranteed third year.

Kyle Anderson, aged 30, has concluded two seasons with the Timberwolves, posting averages of 6.4 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game last season. Known for his versatility as a forward and strong playmaking skills, Anderson began his career with four seasons in San Antonio followed by four seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies.

In other Warriors news, sources have informed ESPN that Golden State intends to appoint Terry Stotts as the lead assistant coach and Jerry Stackhouse as an assistant. Both bring extensive head coaching experience to Steve Kerr's coaching staff: Stotts notably enjoyed a successful nine-year tenure with the Trail Blazers, while Stackhouse has coached in the G League and Southeastern Conference after retiring as a player.
