1. Bundesliga
Bayern Munich has long been known as a legend of the top-flight German football competition, the Bundesliga with a record of 31 titles. It is not a surprise that they once again won the 2020-21 Bundesliga. Bayern Munich won 24 out of 34 games of the tournament, drew six matches, and were only lost in four matches against 1899 Hoffenheim (1-4), Borussia Monchengladbach (2-3), Eintracht Frankfurt (1-2), and Mainz 05 (1-2).
They mainly created a huge difference in their wins, such as a 8-0 win as the first match of this club in the 2020-21 Bundesliga against Schalke 04, 5-0 over Eintracht Frankfurt, or 6-0 against Borussia Monchengladbach. FC Hollywood achieved a total of 78 points, 13 points away from the second-placed club RB Leipzig. With this result, Bayern Munich gained qualification to the group stage of the 2021-22 Champions League.

2. DFB-Pokal
Unfortunately, Bayern Munich weren’t lucky in the major domestic cup DFB-Pokal. Although they had a successful start in the first round by a 3-0 win over 1.FC Duren, Bayern were defeated by Holstein Kiel in the penalty shoot-out. These two teams ended up with an equal result by 2-2, and both scored five penalty goals. In the sixth turn, the club lost to Holstein by one goal and thus were eliminated from the cup.
3. DFL-Supercup
The DFL-Supercup is the cup competition that features only one tie for the Bundesliga winner and the DFB-Pokal triumph. Bayern Munich met Borussia Dortmund in late September 2020 and beat them by a 3-2 win. Bayern Munich also made a record in this competition with a total of eight titles.
4. UEFA Champions League
Bayern Munich participated in the 2020-21 Champion League as the winner of the previous season of Bundesliga. They entered the group stage and stood in the top place of Group A with five wins out of six games.
They advanced to the knock-out phase after that and successfully surpassed Lazio in the round of 16 with a 6-2 win eventually after two legs. It was a pity for Hansi Flick’s students in the quarter-finals to miss out on a chance to go further because of the loss to PSG. They were equal in accumulated goals (3-3), but the away goals rule did help PSG to gain the ticket to the next round.
5. UEFA Super Cup
The 2020-21 season could be considered a relatively successful year for Bayern Munich. In the UEFA Super Cup, which featured the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. So Bayern Munich, as the 2019-20 Champions League titleholder, competed with Spanish club Sevilla. The final result was 2-1 to Bayern and they once again brought home another trophy.
6. FIFA Club World Cup
This international competition is for the winners of major leagues in six confederations in the world, plus the host nation’s national champions. Bayern Munich, as the 2019-20 champions of the UEFA Champions League, advanced to the semi-finals and met the CAF Champions League winner Al Ahly. They finished the match with a 2-0 win and entered the final to meet Mexican club UANL. Bayern Munich were the one who lifted the FIFA Club World Cup trophy by surpassing UANL by 1-0.
