Statistics of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan:

Bayern Munich and Inter Milan’s form:

Bayern Munich form:

Bayern Munich is now having a blast playing their football after three straight victories, the first of which was a 0-2 victory against Hoffenheim. They then defeated Mainz 05 6-2 before going on to defeat Barcelona by a score of 0-3. At the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich has been in dominant form, winning at least five of the last six Champions League games. They only tied once, scored 23 goals while conceding 4, which made them avoid a defeat.

Inter Milan form:

Going into this upcoming match, Inter are in fantastic form after winning their last three games straight. Before thrashing Viktoria Plzen in a 4-0 triumph, Fiorentina fell behind in a 3-4 victory. The most recent victim of Inter's 3-0 victory was Sampdoria. Inter had won half of their previous six Champions League away games, along with two draws and one loss. They allowed six goals while scoring nine.

While we don't think Inter is strong enough to stop Bayern Munich from winning at home, we do think they can keep the loss to a manageable number of goals.

Bayern vs Inter head to head:

Bayern and Inter have met a total of three time in European tournaments since 2011. The German representatives have had 2 wins, and the Italian side have had one. In the first leg between the 2 teams this season, Bayern Munich had a 2-0 comfortable victory over the opponents.

Team news:

For Tuesday's Champions League match against Inter, Bayern will once again be without Bouna Sarr, Lucas Hernandez, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, and Thomas Muller due to injury. Due to the injury he sustained against Mainz on Saturday in league play, Matthijs de Ligt is also anticipated to sit out, which might allow Benjamin Pavard to play in the heart of the defense. For this game, head coach Nagelsmann is probably going to make many changes, but he might start Marcel Sabitzer and Kingsley Coman. Choupo-Moting, who scored a late goal against Mainz on Saturday to give his season total to seven, is anticipated to captain the team once more.

As for Inter Milan, the Italian side will play without Dalbert, Marcelo Brozovic, and Gabriel Brazao due to injury, the guests did not discover any new problems against Sampdoria last weekend. Dzeko is expected to play with Lautaro Martinez in attack since Lukaku, who again came off the bench on Saturday, is unlikely to be considered for a start at this point. Given the chance, head coach Inzaghi might start players like Kristjan Asllani and Francesco Acerbi while resting Alessandro Bastoni and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Probable Line-ups:

Bayern Munich: Ulreich; Mazraoui, Upamecano, Pavard, Davies; Sabitzer, Goretzka; Coman, Musiala, Mane; Choupo-Moting

Inter Milan: Onana; Skriniar, De Vrij, Acerbi; Dumfries, Barella, Asllani, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, L Martinez
