Right in the 8th minute of the match, Arsenal could dream their another home win with a quick goal of Aubameyang after Pepe’s missed goal. However, they gradually lost their control and let Crystal Palace have counterattacking chances. 

In the second half, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta improved the defensive line by substitute Lokonga for Bukayo Saka but the team still played distantly. Patrick Vieira’s squad then quickly attacked and 2 consecutive goals from Christian Benteke (50’) and Odsonne Edouard (73’) were made for The Eagers. 

Arsenal managed in the last minutes with a hop to secure a point. Their efforts were finally paid off. In a messy situation in the penalty area, center-back Ben White came out in time, making goalie Guaita catch the ball in uncertainty. Lacazette was right there hit the ball once again in the 95th minute. This time, the goal was valid. Crystal Palace though, played overwhelmingly, still had to accept to share 3 points for the home team. 

At the moment, the Gunners are still standing in 12th place with 11 points while the Eagers rank 14th with 8 points after 8 games.

Lacazette only entered the field from the 67th minute but he created a positive effect for the attacking line of the Gunners. After the match, he was named the Man of the Match (according to Eurosports) thanks to his impressive performance. 

When Lacazette was on the game, Crystal Palace’s dominance was changed. his last-gasp goal as well as neat touches and driving runs whipped up the crowd and made the Gunners back with their strength.
