After a poor start in the Premier League this season when they have just earned 3 points after 4 matches despite being one of the biggest spenders in the league this summer, manager David Moyes and the club’s hierarchy decided to continue to add more high-profile players to the squad. In addition, he was selected as the best foreign player in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season and is expected to be part of the Brazilian team to conquer the 2022 World Cup.
