Sergio Aguero straightly talks about Pep and his transfer

1. Does Aguero regret joining Barcelona?

The Argentine striker is yet to play for his new club after suffering a calf injury in pre-season. In addition, the departure of his best friend at Barcelona- Lionel Messi made him shocked. Therefore, there were many rumors that Aguero regretted joining Barca and he wanted to find another destination soon.

The 33-year-old player shared: “No. Let's be honest. What player does not want to be at Barca?”. He told that he wanted to were Barca’s shirt no matter how good or bad the club was. In addition, the former Man City star admitted he wanted to play with Messi at the club but unfortunately this will could not happen because Messi unexpectedly had to leave Barca due to the club’s financial crisis. 

Barcelona have only registered Aguero recently as a player because of their huge woes. He finally made his informal debut in a friendly against UE Cornella on Wednesday morning. Aguero scored his first goal for Barca in a 2-2 draw with the third-tier outfit. He talked about his role in the team this season: “You can only consider yourself a starter when you can do things in good form and help the team. That's what I think about. I have to play to help the team with a goal every time”.

2. Aguero: “I never had problems with Guardiola”

Sergio Aguero was considered having problems with his former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, making him have to leave the club despite his will to stay more. However, he insisted that his relationship with Pep was fine.

The player claimed: "I never had problems with Guardiola. I never argued with him. We had to clarify things. When he arrived, when we did not know each other, we had some trials. The last three years have been fantastic and nothing to say.”

He affirmed: "He (Pep) does not care if he has to leave out the team that had scored three goals in the last games. The name of the player does not matter unless it is Messi.”

He also straightly shared that he was always ready to accept as he had to play or not. When Gabriel Jesus came to Manchester City and began to the player as a starter, the 1988-born player did say nothing. Aguero then marked the time when Jesus was injured and he played all matches in those three months. He scored 20 goals and gave Pep the confidence he needed. 

At the present, Kun Aguero is still waiting for his first game for Barcelona’s first team. He is expected to play in the game when Barca host Valencia this weekend. 

He is regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation and one of the best players in the Premier League’s history. Being Manchester City’s all-time top scorer and gaining many prestigious titles, Aguero is promised to help to improve the present problems of Barcelona and bring new victories to the club.
