Jesse Marsch does not have the ability to rescue Leeds

After barely avoiding relegation from the Premier League last season, Leeds United is again dangerously near to it. Many people no longer believe that Coach Jesse Marsch could take Leeds to the next level.

Jesse Marsch could not complete his job as expected

When Marcelo Bielsa was fired as head coach in February of last year, Marsch was hired to take his place in the dugout. With a victory over Brentford on the penultimate day, the former RB Leipzig manager ensured that Leeds would remain in the Premier League.

Many anticipated the Whites to start this season strong despite losing star player Raphinha over the summer and despite a big investment in the trade market. However, they haven't won a competitive game since defeating Bournemouth at the beginning of November and are only two points above the Premier League relegation zone.

Leeds should sack Jesse Marsch

The next stage for Leeds should include a variety of adjustments, notably at the management level, according to Jordan, who served as chairman of Palace from 2000 to 2010. Simon Jordan has urged Leeds United to fire Jesse Marsch because he "does not have the chops." In addition, Jordan believes that by implementing reforms at the board level, the Whites will once again be a top team.

In light of the ongoing connections to 49ers Enterprises, Simon Jordan predicts a change in ownership at Leeds United very soon. Although the club is one ownership change away from challenging at the top of the division, the former owner of Crystal Palace has showered admiration on the current owner, Andrea Radrizzani.

On social media, some fans have expressed their displeasure at the lack of investment in the current team as the Whites prepare for another campaign in the relegation zone. Jordan thinks the Americans will take over at Elland Road and that they have already influenced Jesse Marsch's decision to join the team.

He continued after that. He went on to say that he did not think Marsch was the right person to lead Leeds United to the next level.

"I think with Leeds, I think they're an ownership model away from being a very significant, competing football club again. I think if they stay in the Premier League, we might see that ownership model change.

Andrea has done a great job. We spent time with him in Qatar, and he's done a great job getting Leeds back into the Premier League. I do think there probably is an ownership change that needs to happen, and you'll probably find it's the Americans." He stated.

"You don't see American investment into football clubs without necessarily some degree of engagement, and that's why you've got an American manager in the dugout. I think Leeds are a management decision away from being a bigger football club because I don't think Jesse Marsch has got the chops. I think the ownership model will change and Leeds will kick up another gear. I think ultimately Leeds are going to have to spend more money than they're currently spending," he added.
