Stockport County are in pole position to sign Millwall striker

It was hoped that when Olaofe returned from his loan spell in the summer, he would be able to make the step up to the second tier. However, Millwall have several experienced forwards, making it difficult for the youngster to make the position his own. The agreement provides Olaofe with consistent game time at a level where he is capable of producing, as well as the opportunity for Millwall to bring him back if he produces on a large enough scale. Stockport County are 11th in League Two, but only a few points away from the play-offs. Olaofe could be the man to give them the boost they need to close the gap in the second half of the season. Meanwhile, Rowett's side is chasing the top six in the Championship, and with the standings in both leagues so close, January business could be crucial in either side's promotion push.
