Richard Dobson, the assistant manager, said that there was "huge worry for his wellbeing" following the incident but added that the guy was "up and chatting."
"We're just waiting for the test results," Dobson said. "Well done to the medical staff. He's in good hands."
A statement from Wycombe was released 30 minutes after the game.
"Tjay De Barr has been treated on-site by medics and is in a good condition, but will go to hospital for further tests. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes, and to the medical staff for their swift and expert assistance."
The manager, Gareth Ainsworth, rode in the ambulance with De Barr, who had been capped 30 times by Gibraltar.
De Barr had entered the League One match as a substitute in the 71st minute. He may have been involved in a collision toward the competition's conclusion before he passed out.
The player was "coughing up blood" and "struggling to breathe" toward the end of the game, according to Plymouth manager Steven Schumacher, in what he called "scary" circumstances.

He has played five times for Wycombe thus far this year; Ainsworth's team is presently sixth in League One.
