Origin

Aston Villa Football Club is a professional football club based in Aston, Birmingham, England. They were founded on 21 November 1874, becoming one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888 and the Premier League in 1992. Since 1897, Aston Villa have started playing at Aston Park with a 42,749 seat capacity, ranking eighth largest in English football stadiums, as their home ground. 

The club is also known as The Villa, The Lions, or The Claret & Blue Army. The Villa is simply the short name for the club’s full name, The Lions is the symbol that is featured on the logo of the club, and The Claret & Blue Army refers to their home kit color. Currently, the Egyptian billionaire named Nassef Sawiris and the American billionaire Wes Edens are the co-owners of the  NSWE group that is currently in possession of the Aston Villa F.C. and they have been led by manager Dean Smith since 2018.

Jack Grealish is considered the best player of the Aston Villa F.C. this season. Although this winger is not the top goalscorer of the season, his performance index, in general, is 348 with seven goals and ten assists. He ranks fourth in the list of Aston Villa’s top goalscorers, right below Bertrand Traore who brought eight goals to the club.
