Harry Maguire: Chelsea are eyeing a surprise move for struggling Man United’s captain

A few days ago, Manchester United were considering taking US captain Christian Pulisic on a loan move. And according to Sportsmail, Chelsea have discussed bringing Maguire to west London as part of Pulisic’s loan deal.
The news that harry Maguire is of Chelsea’s interest is extremely surprising because Leicester City’s star Fofana is reported to be the club’s transfer priority and he is ready to move to London. Another reason is that although he still holds the Red Devil’s captain armband, his poor form in the 2021-22 campaign and the 2 first matches this season has raised questions among football fans about the decision to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
As for Harry Maguire, since joining Man United with a record transfer fee for a defender from Leicester City in 2019, the defender has never proved that he is worth that price. He has faced harsh criticism from United fans after a patchy run of form contributed to the club’s poor performance in the last two season.
