[Premier League Prediction] Brighton vs Liverpool Prediction: Sunday afternoon's Premier League match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool will be played at the Amex Stadium with the goal of passing their esteemed opponents.

Brighton vs Liverpool Prediction: The battle for the top 4

In the Premier League standings, there is only one point between Brighton and Liverpool, therefore a victory this weekend would help the Seagulls rise above their visitors. We have great expectations that this weekend's matchup between these two clubs will be as exciting as their previous encounter.

Brighton form

Brighton scored one more goal in a convincing victory at Boro's Riverside Stadium on Saturday, almost replicating their impressive 4-1 victory away at Everton, as returning World Cup hero Alexis Mac Allister traded in his medals for two FA Cup goals off the bench.

Aside from Adam Lallana, who used to play for Liverpool, Deniz Undav, and Pascal Gross also scored for the goal-happy Seagulls, who quickly overcame Chuba Akpom's early equalizer to set up a matchup with either Wolves or Liverpool in the fourth round.

Brighton form

Roberto De Zerbi's team hushed Goodison Park and then some with a spectacular Premier League triumph last Tuesday, maintaining within touching distance of the continental positions as a consequence as they sit ninth in the standings. This was before their victorious trip to Middlesbrough.

Although Brighton is now in fifth place and Tottenham Hotspur have played one more game, a win on home soil for the Seagulls would be sufficient for them to overtake Liverpool and go into the top seven as the advantages in life after Graham Potter continues to outweigh the problems.

Liverpool form

The Anfield supporters are getting louder and louder about the need to get a new midfielder, and they could use this weekend's game to get a better look at Moises Caicedo of Brighton. Klopp's team has been thanking its fortunate stars—or the absence of camera angles—for its continued FA Cup defense.

Toti appeared to have scored the winning goal for the visitors in their four-goal tie with Wolves until it was disallowed because Matheus Nunes was found to have been offside while collecting the ball back at his feet from a corner.

Liverpool form

There may not have been a person in the stadium who was more appreciative than Alisson Becker, who did not receive credit for either of the Wolves' goals but was nonetheless grateful for the draw because there was no tangible evidence to overturn the on-field decision. Klopp and a furious Julen Lopetegui shook hands on a draw.

Sixth-placed Liverpool, who are again back in the top division, cannot overtake Tottenham no matter what happens this weekend, and they are only ahead of Fulham, who have played one more game, on goal differential before the Cottagers take on West London rivals Chelsea on Thursday night.

Brighton vs Liverpool H2H Stats

Brighton vs Liverpool Betting Tips

Over 2.5 Goals

Four of Brighton and Liverpool's previous seven league matches have finished with more than 2.5 goals scored, and their most recent encounter produced a 6-goal thriller. Our forecast for Saturday's meeting at the AmEx is strengthened by the fact that at least three goals have been scored in five of Brighton's and each of Liverpool's previous six competitive and non-competitive games played in all competitions.

Both Teams to Score

Given that five of the previous seven meetings between these two teams have finished in goals, there is a very high probability that we will be treated to goals at both ends of the field this weekend. You can understand why we're betting on both sides to score this weekend given that both teams have scored in each of Brighton's previous five games and each of Liverpool's past six.

Brighton vs Liverpool Best Tips From Betimate

  • Brighton & Hove Albion 2-2 Liverpool

In recent weeks, Brighton and Liverpool have both shown a predisposition for scoring goals and a propensity for giving them up, which should make for an exciting matchup between two European contenders.

The re-emergence of the Dunk-Webster connection may even have some people picking the Seagulls to win this match, but Liverpool excursions to the Amex frequently result in the visitors securing at least a point. We trust De Zerbi's mercurial charges to keep the Reds to another high-scoring draw.
