Less than a week day remain until the start of the January transfer window, but teams are looking to close deals as soon as possible. Cody Gakpo, a Dutch international, has become Liverpool's first signing of the transfer season. The Reds are also interested in a midfielder, and Moises Caicedo and Jude Bellingham are two names who have been connected. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are also anticipated to be active in the summer market. Joao Felix, who is anticipated to leave Atletico Madrid on loan, is one player that all three teams are keeping an eye on, while Arsenal is still looking to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk.

The whole Ronaldo agreement

It is confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo plays with Al Nassr. After weeks of rumors, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was finally introduced by the Saudi Arabian club on Friday night. The transaction was supposed to be revealed on New Year's Eve, but it was revealed earlier as a result of online rumors. After leaving Manchester United last month, Ronaldo was a free agent. After an inflammatory interview with Piers Morgan in which he attacked the club's owners, the Glazers, and manager Erik ten Hag among others, his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. As a result, he lost his £26 million annual pay, but he now makes considerably more money.

Ronaldo's potential replacements at Man United

Only Chelsea among the clubs presently ranked in the top 10 have scored less goals than Man United this season. This implies that teams like Fulham and Brentford have now scored more goals than the 13-time Premier League champions. To try to be the player to lead United back to their past glory, a number of names have been connected with a transfer to Old Trafford, but Cody Gakpo looked to be the one who made the most sense. Gakpo chose Liverpool, therefore Mirror Football looked at some other potential candidates to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo in the lineup.

Mudryk’s latest update

According to Serhiy Palkin, CEO of Shakhtar Donetsk, they are currently negotiating in good faith with Arsenal on the sale of Mykhaylo Mudryk. The winger, who has scored 10 goals in 18 appearances for Shakhtar this season, has been extensively linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Mudryk, one of the greatest young talents in the world with eight assists, may attract interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Chelsea is intrigued by Mac Allister.

According to The Times, Chelsea is mulling a deal for Brighton midfielder Alexis MacAllister. The Blues' top candidate is Enzo Fernandez of Benfica, but his £106 million asking tag could deter them. At Brighton, Mac Allister competed for Graham Potter, the Chelsea manager.

Villa competes with Liverpool for MLS starlet

Sport Witness claims that Aston Villa is a contender to sign MLS star Jhon Duran, who has ties to Liverpool. The Colombian attacker, who joined the Chicago Fire in January, is apparently in talks with Villa about a transfer, and the American team values him at €20 million. After joining from Envigado, Duran, who turned 19 in December, averaged a goal per 170 minutes in his first MLS season.

Real Madrid is prepared to offer Bellingham €100 million

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder at Borussia Dortmund, is supposedly available for more than €100 million (£88.6 million) from Real Madrid. The Spanish behemoths, according to ESPN, are optimistic they can get the discussions forward quickly when the transfer window opens up in a month. Bellingham, 19, is one of the most sought-after midfielders in the world, and Real Madrid is aware that Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool will be challenging them for his services.
