Man Utd are reportedly willing to sell Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United are reportedly 'open' to selling Marcus Rashford as Sir Jim Ratcliffe seeks to address a financial issue at the club.

Rashford, an academy graduate, is enduring a challenging season with just seven goals in 23 appearances across all competitions, following a similar underwhelming campaign in which he scored only eight times. Despite still having three-and-a-half years left on his contract at Old Trafford, where he earns around £325,000 per week, his form and wages have made him a potential candidate for sale.

Reports from Germany suggest United could consider offloading the forward in January or next summer, with the sale potentially relieving them of his hefty wages. This would allow the club more flexibility in the transfer market, especially as Ratcliffe has emphasized the importance of complying with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability spending rules.

Paris Saint-Germain and a potential move to Saudi Arabia have both been linked with Rashford, according to The Telegraph. United manager Ruben Amorim recently commented on Rashford's form, emphasizing that the forward must be the catalyst for any improvement.

“We’ll try to find the right solution for him, but he has to be Marcus, first of all, to try to return to that moment,” said Amorim. “Then he will have all the help from the staff, the club, and the fans because he is a Manchester United boy. But he has to be the first one to want it.”

Amorim also admitted he is still trying to figure out Rashford's best position within his tactical system, acknowledging that the role he played against Ipswich wasn't ideal. “In that position, especially in a game like that, he was fighting with two giants, and we will try to find the right solution for him,” he said.

Rashford, 27, has made 425 appearances for Manchester United since his debut in the 2015/16 season, scoring 138 goals and providing 67 assists during his time at the club.

Under the guidance of new manager Amorim, Rashford has shown signs of a revival, netting three goals in his last four Premier League matches. He will be looking to build on this momentum in the upcoming fixtures.

United face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday, followed by a crucial derby against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.
