Dortmund’s condition to sell Bellingham

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund has informed all interested parties, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, that they are willing to conduct business with them as long as the majority of Bellingham's valuation is paid in one go.

Dortmund set a high fee for Jude Bellingham's deal

Some ongoing rumors point out that Bellingham is thought to have scheduled meetings with Dortmund regarding his long-term future. He has a deal with the Bundesliga team through 2025, and Dortmund is rumored to seek more than £100 million for the superstar. Particularly, any serious buyer will need a sizable down payment given the fee of almost £130 million that has been estimated. Bellingham's pay is anticipated to be in the neighborhood of £300,000 a week, and Dortmund anticipates that their position will drive away any serious suitors.

As part of the agreement to recruit the kid for £22 million in 2020, the Bundesliga club agreed to a 5% sell-on clause to the England midfielder's former club Birmingham.

Clubs' participation

Due to their financial heft, there is a growing perception in Germany that Madrid and City are leading the hunt for the 19-year-old. Ilkay Gundogan is also entering the final six months of his contract, and if Bernardo Silva is sold at the conclusion of the season, City may raise about £75 million.

Bellingham has deep ties to Madrid, but manager Carlo Ancelotti recently distanced his team from a move. For Liverpool, it has made a top-four finish essential, and United knows they need it too after falling off the list of players' preferred clubs in recent years.

Liverpool’s strategy

Liverpool have been accused of making a "cheat offer" in the hunt for Jude Bellingham by offering the England star's father a position with the club.

Bellingham has been linked with a summer departure from current club Borussia Dortmund after performing well for the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup. Jurgen Klopp's Reds have long been admirers of the 19-year-old, but they could face competition from the likes of Real Madrid despite recent claims from Carlo Ancelotti and Manchester City.

Bellingham, an English midfielder, has excelled for both club and country this year. He already has a career-high nine goals for Dortmund this season, and he scored his first goal for his senior national team against Iran in the World Cup.

However, recent rumours have indicated that the Anfield club is willing to offer the midfielder's father, Mark, a position as a scout for the team. The Reds are reportedly keeping an eye on Jobe, Jude's younger brother, who is presently playing for Birmingham City. The news has not been well received by the Spanish media.

As a first step in persuading Jude Bellingham, Liverpool offers a job to Jude Bellingham's father

According to the Spanish daily Nacional, Liverpool's strategy is a "cheat offer" meant to completely outclass Real Madrid. The publication has also mentioned the "advanced" negotiations regarding Bellingham between Los Blancos.

Bellingham allegedly has a secured spot in the team, and Liverpool is apparently willing to pay more than Real Madrid for him. The England star may fill the clear opening in the Reds' midfield, but in order to maintain a long-term starting position at the Bernabeu, he would need to beat out World Cup finalists Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga.

Given that Liverpool paid a lot of money in January to bring Cody Gakpo to Anfield, any transfer for Jude Bellingham seems unlikely to happen until the summer. Over the weekend, the Dutch international made his club debut by playing 84 minutes of the FA Cup tie with Wolves.

Jurgen Klopp's squad will travel to Brighton for a Premier League matchup next, where a loss would put them below Roberto de Zerbi's squad in the standings. Following that, there will be a replay against Wolves at Molineux, then a hectic stretch of domestic games before a return to Champions League competition in February.a
