Bayern to send Cancelo back to Manchester City

Calciomercato reports that Bayern Munich has decided against making fullback Joao Cancelo's loan permanent and instead will send him back to Manchester City at the end of the current campaign.

His time in Germany hasn't gone as well as he had intended since he's had to deal with the same issue of his limited team position that enraged him under Pep Guardiola. Cancelo may be moved to another club this summer because Manchester City is prepared to move on from his departure in January.

Leno begins to talk about a potential Arsenal exit

Berndt Leno, the goalkeeper for Fulham, has spoken about leaving Arsenal and maintains that he "did nothing wrong" when Aaron Ramsdale took his spot. Leno was replaced by Ramsdale in the 2021–22 season and has subsequently made a permanent transfer.

Newcastle wants Mount

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle is interested in acquiring Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this summer, but Liverpool will be a strong rival.

Mount has had his least prolific season with the Blues after a stellar 2021–22 campaign in which he reached double digits for goals and assists in the Premier League. He now seems to be leaving Stamford Bridge rather than signing a new deal. His overall performance is still strong enough to draw interest from the Premier League.

Asensio is in conversation with Arsenal and Milan

According to the Spanish publication SPORT, Arsenal, and AC Milan allegedly spoke with Marco Asensio, a Real Madrid target.

The 27-year-old is reported "extremely unhappy" at Carlo Ancelotti's lack of playing time this season, since the majority of his 31 outings have been as a substitute.

Newcastle and Barcelona are also rumored to be in the background.

Arsenal is still committed to signing a star from Brighton

Football Insider reports that after failing to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo in January, Arsenal is still committed to acquiring him in the summer. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool are still interested in the player in addition to the Gunners.
