Robin Patrick Olsen is a Swedish goalkeeper who currently plays for Everton in the Premier League on loan from Roma, as well as the Sweden national team. Olsen was able to play for both Denmark and Sweden at the international level. When he first arrived at Malmö FF, he stated that he preferred to play for Denmark, but according to Danish international coach Morten Olsen, he chose to play for Sweden in 2014. He made his Sweden debut in a match against Norway on January 15, 2015. Olsen was called up to Sweden's UEFA Euro 2016 team in May 2016, as a back-up keeper for Andreas Isaksson. Isaksson resigned after Sweden's early departure from the competition, and Olsen took over as Sweden's first-choice goalkeeper.

He was nominated to Sweden's 23-man team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in May of 2018. Olsen started all five games for Sweden at the 2018 World Cup, however they were ousted in the quarterfinals by England.

Bo Kristoffer Nordfeldt (born June 23, 1989) is a Swedish goalkeeper who now plays for Turkish side Gençlerbirlii as well as the Swedish national team.Nordfeldt's career began at Brommapojkarna, which is known for its academy. For the 2006 season, while the team was in Superettan, he was promoted to the first team. Nordfeldt did not participate in any league matches that year or the next year, when the squad made its Allsvenskan debut.

Nordfeldt played 16 games for the Swedish U21 squad between 2008 and 2010. Sweden played eight matches in their qualification group and two in the play-offs for the 2011 U21 European Championships, all with Nordfeldt in the starting lineup, and finished with a goal difference of 17–10.Nordfeldt made his Sweden debut in a friendly match against the South African Development squad on January 22, 2011. He was nominated to Sweden's 23-man team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in May 2018.

Karl-Johan Anton Johnsson (born 28 January 1990) is a Swedish goalkeeper who currently plays for Copenhagen.

Johnsson began his career at Halmstads BK in Sweden and has since played in the Netherlands, Denmark, and France. He has been a full international for Sweden since 2012, and he was a member of the squad for his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

F.C. Copenhagen announced on July 12th that Johnsson had signed a four-year deal with the club. [13]In a 0–1 loss against Manchester United in the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League quarter-finals on August 10, 2020, Johnsson made 13 saves – the highest by a goalie in a Europa League game since 2009.

Johnsson played for Sweden at the U19 level before moving up to the Swedish U21 squad and making his debut against Slovakia in 2009. With time, Johnsson was able to establish himself as the U21 team's first choice goalkeeper.

Johnsson was called up to the Swedish national team for the 2012 January trip against Qatar and Bahrain, despite Halmstads BK's dismal performance in the 2011 Allsvenskan, which resulted in Halmstad being demoted.

After missing the match against Bahrain, he made his senior squad debut as a halftime replacement against Qatar.

He was nominated to Sweden's 23-man team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in May of 2018.

Victor Jörgen Nilsson Lindelöf (born 17 July 1994) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a defender for Manchester United in the Premier League and for the Sweden national team. He mostly plays as a centre-back but can also play as a right-back. Lindelöf scored his first goal of the 2020–21 season in a 6–2 home triumph over Leeds United on December 20, 2020. On February 2, 2021, he played the entire 90 minutes in Manchester United's Premier League record-tying 9–0 home triumph over Southampton. On May 26, 2021, he played the entire 120 minutes as Manchester United fell to Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League Final following a 10–11 penalty shootout in which Lindelöf scored United's tenth penalty kick.He was named to Sweden's team for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France, where he started all three of his country's group games, despite the fact that they did not advance past the round of 16. On October 10, 2016, Lindelöf scored his first international goal for Sweden in a 3–0 win against Bulgaria at Friends Arena in Stockholm in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Lindelöf was selected for Sweden's UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Romania and Norway in March 2019. However, he elected to leave the team for personal reasons, citing the birth of his first kid as an example. Anton Tinnerholm took his position.

Pontus Sven Gustav Jansson is a Swedish footballer who plays as a centre-back for Brentford in the Premier League and for the Swedish national team. Jansson was named "Leeds' best player in the Championship for the 2018–19 season" by Leeds Head Coach Marcelo Bielsa on 14 May 2019. Jansson was chosen to the EFL Team of the Season on March 11th. Jansson and his colleague Chris Wood were awarded to the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season on March 21. In January 2012, Jansson was picked for the Sweden national team's annual training camp. On January 18, 2012, he made his senior debut for Sweden in a training match against Bahrain. Jansson was chosen to Sweden's final 23-man roster for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on May 15, 2018. Jansson was picked in the starting lineup ahead of Manchester United's Victor Lindelöf for Sweden's 1-0 triumph against South Korea in their Group F opener on June 18th. Sweden advanced to the quarter-finals of the World Cup after defeating Switzerland in the last 16. Jansson was introduced as a second-half replacement and played in an unaccustomed striker role.

Filip Viktor Helander (born April 22, 1993) is a Swedish footballer who plays center back for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and the Swedish national team. On October 17, 2011, Helander made his Allsvenskan debut against Syrianska. Helander signed a first-team deal with Malmö on July 17, 2012, that ran through the conclusion of the 2015 season. Helander joined Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A on July 22, 2015. [requires citation] He made his debut against Internazionale in a 1–0 defeat at the San Siro on September 23. On July 13, 2019, Helander was revealed as a new signing for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. The cost of Helander was £3.5 million. He made his Rangers debut in a Scottish League Cup match against East Fife, scoring a goal in a 3-0 win. In his tenure at Rangers, Helander has never lost a Scottish league game. In October 2015, Helander was called up to Sweden's senior squad for a match against Moldova.

He was nominated to Sweden's World Cup team in Russia in May 2018.

Marcus Andreas Danielson (born 8 April 1989) is a defender for Dalian Professional of the Chinese Super League and the Swedish national team . Danielson played for IFK Eskilstuna, a fourth-tier football team, until a successful trial with top-tier team Helsingborgs IF in the summer of 2007. He would struggle to break into Helsingborgs IF's first squad, therefore the club let him depart for free to third-tier club Västers SK on July 27, 2009. Danielson was transferred to the Chinese club Dalian Professional in Dalian for more than 50 million SEK on February 28, 2020, becoming Djurgrden's most expensive outbound transfer ever.

On July 26, 2020, he made his Dalian debut, scoring a goal in a 2–3 loss against Shandong Luneng. Danielson was called up to the Sweden national team squad on 7 October 2019 as a replacement for injured center defender Pontus Jansson for the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying games against Malta and Spain. He scored 10 minutes into his debut, from a corner, in a 4–0 victory for Sweden versus Malta. In the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League A, he scored his second international goal in a 2–1 win over Croatia on November 14, 2020.

 

Andreas Granqvist

Andreas Granqvist is a Swedish footballer who leads the Sweden national team and plays as a centre-back for Helsingborgs IF. Helsingborgs IF was his first club, and he went on to play for clubs in England, the Netherlands, Italy, and Russia before returning to Helsingborg in 2018. He has been a full international for Sweden since 2006, winning more than 80 caps and competing in three UEFA European Championships as well as the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

In 2017, he received the Guldbollen (Golden Ball), which is presented to the Swedish player of the year. Granqvist began his professional career with his hometown club, Parps GIF. He then moved to Helsingborgs IF, where he made his Allsvenskan debut in 2004. Granqvist declared on January 28, 2018, that he will return to Helsingborgs IF following the World Cup. He'd sign a 3.5-year player deal with the club, followed by a three-year stint as the club's director of sports. On May 13, 2018, he officially played his final game for Krasnodar. Granqvist has represented Sweden at international level, and in May 2008, he was included to Sweden's 23-man roster for the UEFA Euro 2008 tournament. In all three of Sweden's games, though, he was an unused replacement. Granqvist was named captain of Sweden by new manager Janne Andersson on July 6, 2016. After Zlatan Ibrahimovi retired from the national squad after UEFA Euro 2016, Granqvist took his place. He was nominated to Sweden's 23-man team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in May 2018. 

 

Ludwig Augustinsson

Hans Carl Ludwig Augustinsson, a Swedish professional footballer who plays left-back for Werder Bremen and the Swedish national team, was born on April 21, 1994. He was a Brommapojkarna academy product who spent two senior seasons with the club before joining IFK Göteborg in 2013. His breakthrough had to wait until the 2014 season, when he was awarded the best left back of the season after an injury-plagued first year. In January 2015, he relocated to Copenhagen for an estimated record cost of €1.4 million. Augustinsson began his football career with IF Brommapojkarna in Stockholm when he was six years old. Augustinsson's transfer to IFK Göteborg went smoothly, as he featured in the most of the pre-season games. He was first-choice left-back when Svenska Cupen began in March, and he played two games in the group stage. In the final, IFK Göteborg defeated Djurgrden to win the cup. Werder Bremen confirmed the signing of Augustinsson for the 2017–18 Bundesliga season on January 30, 2017. He agreed to a contract extension with Werder Bremen in August 2018, after returning from vacation following the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Augustinsson made his senior team debut in January 2015, starting both of the squad's friendlies against the Ivory Coast and Finland. According to Sportbladet, he was the best Swedish player in the two games.

In March 2016, he was called up for the second time, playing 90 minutes in Sweden's 2–1 loss to Turkey. Erik Hamrén stated on May 11 that Augustinsson will be part of the Euro 2016 team. Throughout Sweden's poor Euro 2016 group stage, he was an unused substitute behind Martin Olsson. Following the arrival of Janne Andersson later that summer, Augustinsson faced stiffer competition when Oscar Wendt returned to the team following a split with the previous head coach.

 

Pierre Bengtsson

Pierre Bengtsson (born 12 April 1988) is a Swedish professional footballer who is on loan from Copenhagen and plays as a left defender for Vejle BK. 

Bengtsson began his professional career with AIK, where he made his debut against sters IF at Rasunda Stadium in August 2006. Bengtsson left AIK after three and a half seasons in pursuit of greater playing time and joined Danish Superliga FC Nordsjælland on September 10, 2009. In his first half year in Copenhagen, Bengtsson was Oscar Wendt's backup. Despite this, Bengtsson played in 8 of the 16 games before Wendt joined Borussia Mönchengladbach. Bengtsson made his UEFA Champions League round-of-16 debut against Chelsea F.C. on February 22, 2011, as a substitute. Mainz 05 announced Bengtsson's signing on November 23, 2014, with an effective date of January 1, 2015. Bengtsson was a member of the Swedish youth national teams, appearing in 29 games. At the 2009 UEFA Under-21 Championship, he was a member of the Swedish squad.

Bengtsson made his senior national team debut in a friendly against Botswana on January 19, 2011.

Despite consistently playing left back for Sweden in UEFA Euro 2020 qualification, he was unexpectedly left out of the final team. He was finally called up to replace Martin Olsson, who was injured. 

 

Emil Krafth

Krafth was born in the Kronoberg County town of Ljungby. He began playing football as a child, following in the footsteps of his parents, Pelle and Pernilla, who were also players, and joined his mother's club, Lagans AIK, when he was five years old.On August 8, 2019, Krafth signed a four-year contract with Premier League team Newcastle United after the club agreed to a £5 million agreement with Amiens SC. "It feels pretty fantastic," he stated after joining the club. I've had a hectic couple of days, but I'm finally here. I'm thrilled to have signed with Newcastle and can't wait to get started practicing with the team.Krafth was called up for the first time to the Sweden U17 squad in May 2011. For the U17 team, he only made one appearance. Kraft was first called up to the Swedish national team in January 2014. In a 2–1 win against Moldova on January 17, 2014, he made his debut for Sweden, coming on as an 85th-minute replacement and setting up the national side goal for Erton Fejzullahu, who scored twice. Kraft was called up to Sweden's squad for the second time after a two-year absence, appearing on the bench against the Netherlands and Luxembourg as an unused replacement. Krafth was selected for Sweden's 23-man World Cup team in Russia in May 2018. Krafth was included in Sweden's 26-man squad for UEFA Euro 2020.

 

Mikael Lustig

Carl Mikael Lustig is a Swedish footballer who plays for AIK and the Swedish national team as a right or center defender. Since 2008, he has been a full international for Sweden, appearing at UEFA Euro 2012, UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Sandkerns SK was where Lustig started his career. He then transferred to Ume FC, where he spent two years. Lustig signed a free agent contract with Swedish club AIK on August 25, 2020, after a trial with the team in 2004. On September 30th, Lustig made his debut.Lustig was a member of the Swedish under-18 national team. Lustig earned his national team debut in the 2009 European Under-21 Championship while playing for the under-21 squad during the 2006 season. He'd been appointed as the team's vice-captain. Lustig appeared in 21 games for Sweden's under-21 team. Lustig has been named to Sweden's UEFA Euro 2020 team, which consists of 26 players.

 

Jens Cajuste

Jens-Lys Michel Cajuste, also known as Jens Cajuste, is a Swedish professional footballer who currently plays for FC Midtjylland and the Swedish national team as a midfielder. Cajuste was born in Sweden to a Swedish mother and a Haitian-American father. Cajuste and his family relocated to China when he was five years old, spending a year in Luoyang before relocating to Beijing. Cajuste was signed to a five-year deal by Danish club FC Midtjylland in June 2018. Lustig was a member of Sweden's under-18 national team. Lustig made his national team debut on the under-21 squad during the 2006 season, competing in the 2009 European Under-21 Championship. He'd been promoted to team vice-captain. Lustig made a total of 21 appearances for Sweden's under-21 team. Lustig has been included to Sweden's UEFA Euro 2020 roster of 26 players. When Cajuste was named to Sweden's 26-man squad for UEFA Euro 2020, it was the first time he had been called up for a major tournament. 

 

Albin Ekdal

Albin Ekdal is a Swedish footballer who currently plays for Sampdoria in Serie A and for the Swedish national team. He began his career with IF Brommapojkarna and has since spent the most of his time in Italy, where he has made over 200 Serie A games. In the tournament, he has played for Cagliari, Juventus, Siena, Bologna, and Sampdoria. He also spent three years with Hamburger SV in Germany's Bundesliga. Ekdal made his senior international debut for Sweden in 2011 and has since amassed more than 50 caps for his country. He competed for them in the 2016 UEFA Euros and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Ekdal earned his Sweden debut in a friendly match against Ukraine in Kharkiv on August 10, 2011. In a 1–0 victory, he came on as a 60th-minute substitute for Sebastian Larsson. Despite a severe cut in his back after celebrating Hamburg's recent Bundesliga survival, Ekdal was included in Sweden's 23-man team for the UEFA Euro 2016 in France. As the Swedes finished last in their group, he played each match. Ekdal was nominated to Sweden's 23-man team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia in June 2018. In a run to the quarterfinals, he appeared in all five games. Ekdal has been included to Sweden's UEFA Euro 2020 roster of 26 players.

Karl Gustav Johan Svensson (born February 7, 1987) is a Swedish midfielder who currently plays for Guangzhou City and the Swedish national team. Svensson began his professional football career with IFK Göteborg in Sweden and has since played professionally in Turkey, Ukraine, China, and the United States. He has been a full international since 2009, and he played in the 2018 FIFA World Cup for Sweden. In his youth, he played for a local Gothenburg team as well as a French team before joining IFK Göteborg at the age of 14. Svensson returned to Guangzhou City in the Chinese Super League on April 9, 2021.Svensson made his debut for Sweden's under-21 squad in 2007, and was a member of the U21 squad that advanced to the semi-finals of the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Svensson was sent off for the first time in his senior international career in the first half of Sweden's game against Portugal in the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League on September 8, 2020.

On November 11, 2020, in his 30th international appearance, he was named Sweden's team captain for the first time in a friendly match against Denmark.

 

Mattias Svanberg

Mattias Olof Svanberg (born 5 January 1999) is a Swedish professional footballer who now represents Bologna and the Swedish national team as a midfielder. Mattias Svanberg signed an apprenticeship deal with Malmö FF on July 27, 2015, after playing for the LB07 and Malmö FF junior teams. Svanberg was given a bigger role with the squad in 2017, making 21 appearances as MFF won the title for the second year in a row. On September 16, 2018, he made his Serie A debut in a 0–1 loss against Genoa C.F.C. In November 2018, Svanberg was called up to the senior Swedish squad for games against Turkey and Russia, however he did not play. Svanberg was called up for Sweden's UEFA Euro 2020 qualification matches against Romania and the Faroe Islands in November 2019. Svanberg received his first call-up for a major tournament when he was included to Sweden's 26-man roster for UEFA Euro 2020.

Olsson began his career at IK Sleipner in Norrköping, Sweden. Olsson was given a trial with English club Chelsea when he was 13, but he declined and transferred to IFK Norrköping instead. Olsson has signed a deal with FC Krasnodar of the Russian Premier League, which was revealed on January 7, 2019.His style of play has been compared to that of past Swedish Arsenal players such as Freddie Ljungberg and Sebastian Larsson. Olsson was called up to Sweden's team for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which will be held in Poland, in May 2017. Olsson made his competitive debut for Sweden against Russia at Friends Arena in Stockholm on November 20, 2018, in the 2018-19 UEFA Nations League. Olsson began in midfield and played for nearly the whole game. Sweden secured promotion to League A in the following edition of the competition, as well as a place in the UEFA Euro 2020 play-offs, with a 2-0 victory.

 

Sebastian Larsson

For the 2014–15 season, Larsson was awarded Sunderland's Supporters' Player of the Year. Larsson signed a one-year deal with Championship team Hull City on 9 August 2017 after being released by Sunderland as their relegation from the Premier League coincided with the expiration of his contract. Larsson joined AIK of the Allsvenskan on June 11, 2018. Sunderland announced on June 22, 2011, that Larsson will join the club on a free transfer on July 1st, as per the Bosman rule. For the 2014–15 season, L arsson was awarded Sunderland's Supporters' Player of the Year. Hull City extended him a new contract at the end of the 2017–18 season. Larsson joined AIK of the Allsvenskan on June 11, 2018. After winning the 2018 Allsvenskan title, his first season at AIK was a huge success, as he helped the team win the Swedish Championship for the twelfth time in the club's history. His style of play has been compared to that of past Swedish Arsenal players such as Freddie Ljungberg and Sebastian Larsson. Olsson was called up to Sweden's team for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which will be held in Poland, in May 2017. Ken Nlata Sema (born September 30, 1993) is a Swedish footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Watford. As a 19-year-old, Sema was promoted to the IFK Norrköping first squad in 2013. He was, however, loaned to IF Sylvia for the whole season. On July 4, 2018, Ostersunds FK chairman Daniel Kindberg reported that Sema was close to signing a five-year contract with Premier League team Watford. Sema joined Udinese Calcio on a season-long loan from Watford on August 22, 2019. On August 25, 2019, he made his Serie A debut for Udinese in a 1–0 win over A.C. Milan. Sema was a member of Sweden's Olympic squad that competed in Brazil in 2016, and he scored his first U23 goal in a match against South Korea. In a friendly 6–0 triumph over Slovakia in January 2017, he made his senior squad debut for Sweden. Sema was left out of the World Cup roster despite appearing in advertisements with the rest of the Sweden team before the tournament.
