Cameroon vs. Brazil final score, result (World Cup 2022): Brazil's shocking defeat

Cameroon vs. Brazil Summary
With an early ticket to the 1/8 round of the 2022 World Cup, Brazil only launched a reserve squad in the last match of Group G against Cameroon. However, the quality of Selecao's squad is still outstanding, with Antony, Rodrigo, Jesus, Martinelli,...
Brazil controlled the game right after the opening whistle. The first dangerous opportunities belong to the samba dancers.
On the other hand, Cameroon tried their best when confronting one of the brightest candidates. They also created some notable counter-attacks but failed to score. The first half ended without a goal. The regretable situation is that by creating space on the left side, Moumi Ngamaleu crossed the ball for Bryan Mbeumo to attack at the far post. Mbeumo connected with a strong downward header, which Ederson deflected to his right.
Quickly after the restart, Aboubakar swung a shot across the goal, but Epassy was soon in the heart of the action, blocking another Martinelli attempt before misplacing an attempt from Eder Militao and recovering to turn the ball behind.
In the second half, Brazil suffered a serious loss with the injury of defender Alex Telles. Coach Tite made many changes to improve the quality of the attack. However, apart from Martinelli's dynamism, Brazil did not pose a danger to Cameroon's goal. They squandered numerous opportunities and were forced to concede in injury time. At 90+2 minutes, Aboubakar headed in to hit Brazil's net from Choupo Mouting's cross, giving Cameroon the lead. The score of 1-0 was kept until the final whistle sounded.
This is Brazil's first goal at the 2022 World Cup. It had no effect on the place of Brazil in the group, but they lost their clean sheet record as well as the opportunity to become the first team to win the first round of the World Cup.
Cameroon could leave the World Cup in 2022 with their heads held high after the group stage, while Brazil retained first place in Group G.
