1. Josko Gvardio, Croatia

Croatian midfielder Gvardiol, known as "Man in the Mask,"  is the most powerful player on the list. Gvardiol didn't play well in the round of 16 against Japan, but he did great in the group stage.

Josko Gvardio

Before the 2002 World Cup, many big clubs wanted these players in their squad. In it, Chelsea is said to be leading the race. Currently, the transfer value of this player is 60 million. However, after their excellent performance at the 2022 World Cup, the Leipzig club asked for more because before, they had flatly refused the 80 million figure offered by Chelsea.

2. Goncalo Ramos, Portugal

When he replaced Ronaldo in Portugal's outstanding 6-1 win over Switzerland in the knockout round of the 2022 World Cup, he earned the confidence of coach Fernando Santos. He did not make his coach disappointed by scoring three goals in this match. The 21-year-old Benfica player became the first player since Miroslav Klose (2002) to score a hat-trick in his first World Cup match.

Goncalo Ramos

According to the Transfermarkt, Ramos is worth about €24 million. However, the Benfica club can demand twice as much for this player’s price after the 2022 World Cup, and PSG is the first club that is willing to spend €60 million. His contract release price is currently €120 million USD.

3. Cody Gakpo, Netherlands

Manchester United had planned to sign this player during the summer transfer window but was unable to do so.However, after the 2022 World Cup, owning this player will be more difficult given Cody Gakpo's excellent form for the Netherlands.

Cody Gakpo

In the group stage, Gakpo shone when he regularly scored against Senegal, Ecuador, and Qatar. Gakpo has been involved in 30 goals for PSV in all competitions before the World Cup in 2022, scoring 13 and assisting 17.

Currently, Gakpo is valued at €45 million by Transfermarkt, and Manchester United is eager to buy him in January 2023. Moreover, according to Dutch media, Real Madrid also wants to buy the 23-year-old striker from PSV as a backup for Karim Benzema.

4. Enzo Fernandez, Argentina

In June, Benfica only spent 10 million to buy Fernandez from River Plate. However, his transfer value in the next transfer window will increase after his good form at the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Enzo Fernandez

In the victory over Mexico in the second round of the group stage, Fernandez made a beautiful cut to make the score 2-0. Since then, the 21-year-old midfielder has always been a member of Argentina's national team.

Currently, his value is 35 million. However, there is some information revealing that it will increase to 80 million. According to Spanish media, Real considers Fernandez a plan B if Jude Bellingham of Dortmund cannot be bought.

5. Mohammed Kudus, Ghana

The Ajax star has had an impressive 2022–23 season with 10 goals in 21 matches, including four goals in the Champions League competition. The fact that Ghana was eliminated in the group stage did not affect Kudus. It is entirely possible for him to move to a bigger club in the future. Experts appreciate the 22-year-old midfielder's creativity and ability to double against the Korean net. Kudus' current asking price is 15 million, but this figure could skyrocket if he is signed by a big club like Liverpool
