All about the Cambodian C-League
The Cambodian League, also known as the C-League or the Metfone Cambodian League for sponsorship purposes, is the top level of football in Cambodia, administered by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC). In the 2021 season, it will be contested by 13 teams and will follow the Cambodian Second League's promotion and relegation structure. The season normally lasts from February to October, with each of the 13 teams facing off twice, for a total of 24 games per side. Most of the games take place in the afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays.

1. The main dominators
The Phnom Penh Crown, Boeung Ket, Nagaworld, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, and the newly promoted Visakha are the entitled big five of Cambodian football given that all five have played AFC Cup football.
Phnom Penh Crown: Samart United was founded in 2001 with the support of Samart. The club secured its first Cambodian League title a year later. After a sponsor move in 2005, the team was renamed Hello United, and then Phnom Penh United in 2006. Phnom Penh United and Khmer Empire combined in 2007 to form Phnom Penh Empire. In 2008, the new club made history by becoming the first Cambodian team to win both the league and the Hun Sen Cup.
Boeung Ket: Boeung Ket Football Club is a Cambodian professional football club based in Phnom Penh, the country's capital. It currently competes in the Cambodian League, the country's highest football league. The team has won four Cambodian League championships (2012, 2016, 2017, and 2020) and finished second in three seasons (2013, 2014, and 2018). After defeating the 2019 league winner, Svay Rieng, in a penalty shootout, the team eventually secured its first Hun Sen Cup trophy in 2019.
Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC: Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, formerly known as Preah Khan Reach FC until May 2013, is a Cambodian football club. It plays in the C-League, Cambodia's highest football league.
Nagaworld: NagaWorld FC is a professional football team based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It was established in 2001 as NagaCorp FC before changing its name to NagaWorld FC in January 2015. The club competes in Cambodia's top flight, officially known as the Metfone C-League (see the Cambodian-League). NagaWorld FC secured the Cambodian championship for the third time with a week to spare on September 23, 2018, having previously won the top tier crown in 2007 and 2009. In addition, NagaWorld FC won the Samdech Hun Sen Cup in 2001.
Visakha: Visakha Football Club is a Phnom Penh-based Cambodian professional football club. They were established in 2016 and currently play in the Cambodian League, the country's highest football league. The team won the Hun Sen Cup for the first time in its history in 2020.
