Kompany worked for Manchester City for 11 years, three of which were spent under Pep Guardiola. With the team, he won two FA Cups, one of which came during his final campaign. On Wednesday, his Burnley team defeated Fleetwood by a score of 1-0, while Manchester City defeated Bristol City by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday. While with the club, Guardiola has only ever captured one FA Cup.

Grimsby, who stunned Premier League team Southampton on Wednesday night, will go back to the coast to face Brighton in the semifinals. After finishing as runners-up in 1983 and defeating Stoke in the fifth round, the in-form Seagulls are seeking their first FA Cup victory.
The only other Premier League matchup in the draw pits Manchester United against Fulham. After their victory in the Carabao Cup, Erik ten Hag's team defeated West Ham 3-1 in the fifth round. Tuesday saw Fulham defeat Leeds under Marco Silva.
Manchester United won 2-1 at Craven Cottage in the Premier League in November. They still have a chance to win three more championships this year. In the last quarterfinal match, Blackburn and Sheffield United will compete. Both Championship teams defeated Premier League opponents, with Rovers defeating Leicester and the Blades winning at Bramall Lane against Tottenham.

The weekend of March 18 and 19 will see the FA Cup quarterfinal matches. Wembley Stadium will host the following semifinal matches and the championship game on Saturday, June 3.

Do FA Cup quarter final replays occur?

Replays are not permitted in the 2022–23 FA Cup quarterfinal round. The first round of the competition this season without replays for tied games was the preceding round (Round of 16). The FA Cup has gradually phased out replays, starting with the championship game and now extending to the Round of 16.

Replays will not be apply in the FA Cup quater-final round

In 1998–1999, the English FA banned replays in the championship game. A year later, it also prohibited replays in semifinal games. The elimination of quarterfinal replays took place in 2016–17, while the fifth round (Round of 16) was the most recent round to be replay-free in 2018–19. If teams are drawn after 90 minutes of their quarterfinal, there won't be a replay; instead, they'll play 30 minutes of extra time, then, if required, a penalty shootout
