Several clubs are eager to offer Marcus Rashford the opportunity to revitalize his career in Saudi Arabia, including Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

Rashford’s omission from Manchester United’s squad during their recent Manchester derby win has fueled speculation about his future. In a midweek interview, he admitted he’s ready for a new challenge.

The 27-year-old has faced a challenging 18 months, with questions surrounding his ability to secure a move due to his significant salary, particularly within Europe. However, this wouldn’t be an obstacle in Saudi Arabia, where a number of top clubs are keen to sign him.

According to The Telegraph, Rashford is a target for the Saudi Pro League's top four clubs: Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli. Newly promoted Al-Qadsiah is also reportedly interested.

While it remains uncertain whether Rashford would consider a move to Saudi Arabia, his recent comments suggest he's seeking a fresh challenge. It’s likely, however, that he would prefer to stay in Europe.

Al-Nassr’s interest in Rashford is not surprising, as the club has frequently been linked with major European stars since signing Ronaldo on a lucrative deal in 2022.

The Portuguese superstar, who shared a stint at Manchester United with Rashford, is said to have encouraged his new club, Al-Nassr, to target high-profile signings, including Kevin de Bruyne, when it appeared he might leave Manchester City over the summer.

While there is no indication that this applies to Rashford at the moment, Ronaldo could offer Al-Nassr valuable insight into the player, based on their time together at Old Trafford, should they decide to pursue the Manchester United academy graduate.

Rashford is likely to attract interest when the January transfer window opens in less than two weeks, after he expressed in a recent interview: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.

"When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.

"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I'e seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."

Four of Saudi Arabia's top clubs are interested in signing Marcus Rashford.
