Reports from Spain indicate that Kylian Mbappe has completed the signing of his contract with Real Madrid, committing to the LaLiga giants until 2029. The pursuit of the French superstar by the Spanish club has been ongoing for years, and speculation intensified after Mbappe informed Paris Saint-Germain of his intention to leave in the upcoming summer, as his contract nears its expiration.

According to Marca, Mbappe finalized the agreement to join Real Madrid two weeks ago, demonstrating a strong commitment to his new club at the Bernabeu.

According to a recent report, Real Madrid is prepared to offer Kylian Mbappe a salary that surpasses the £10.3 million per season earned by Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, making him the highest earner at the club. However, the latest update suggests that Mbappe may still have to accept a pay-cut as part of the deal. Additionally, Madrid is expected to provide a signing-on fee of approximately £85.5 million and initiate negotiations regarding the percentage of his image rights that Mbappe will retain.

According to the Marca report, Mbappe's representatives have reportedly informed PSG not to make any further offers to persuade him to stay with the French club, as he has already reached an agreement with Real Madrid.

The report suggests that Real Madrid had contacted Mbappe's entourage at the beginning of the year to inquire about his intentions to join the club. This inquiry followed negotiations between the two parties during the previous summer. Mbappe allegedly responded positively to Real Madrid's inquiry, indicating his desire to join the Spanish club.

The report further states that Real Madrid had initially reconsidered their pursuit of Mbappe, no longer viewing him as a player they were willing to sign at any cost, given the presence of Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham, whom they consider to be among the best footballers in the world.

However, at the beginning of February, the club resumed negotiations with the aim of securing the deal as swiftly as possible.

If the agreement comes to fruition, Mbappe is expected to earn an annual salary ranging from £12 million to £17 million at Real Madrid, in addition to potential bonuses. This would entail a significant reduction in his earnings as he is currently reported to receive £22 million per year from his lucrative contract with PSG.

In the midst of the ongoing speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappe's possible departure from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), club president Nassr Al-Khelaifi has expressed his desire to retain the winger, asserting that PSG is the ideal environment for him.

Al-Khelaifi conveyed his thoughts to RMC, stating, "I'm not hiding anything. I definitely want Mbappe to stay. In my opinion, he is the best player in the world, and I believe that Paris is the best club for Kylian."

Mbappe initially joined PSG in 2017 on a loan agreement from Monaco, and the French giants later secured his permanent transfer for a staggering fee of £155 million.

After joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2017, Kylian Mbappe signed a contract extension in 2022, which includes an option to extend until June 2025. Throughout his tenure at PSG, Mbappe has achieved remarkable success, scoring an impressive 243 goals in 290 appearances for the club. Recently, he netted his 44th Champions League goal.

However, tensions have been escalating between Mbappe and the club regarding his contract. While PSG wanted him to extend his deal beyond 2025, Mbappe refused to sign an extension. As a result, the club relegated him to train with the B team. In response, Mbappe wrote a letter to PSG informing them that he would not be activating a year-long extension clause in his contract. PSG retaliated by accusing him of causing significant harm to the club.
