Arsenal are set to increase ticket prices again for next season, just weeks after financial reports revealed a pay rise of over £630,000 for their highest-paid director.

The club is preparing to announce a price hike of around four percent for the 2025-26 campaign, following a five percent increase for the current season.

The decision, first reported by the Daily Mirror, will come as a disappointment to supporters who had hoped for a price freeze. In contrast, Premier League rivals Liverpool, Brentford, and West Ham United have all committed to freezing ticket prices.

This announcement follows Arsenal’s latest financial accounts for the year ending May 31, 2024, which showed that the club’s highest-paid director earned £2 million, up from £1.36 million the previous year. The individual has not been identified.

For the current season, Arsenal’s most expensive adult season ticket costs £2,050, while the cheapest adult season ticket is priced at £1,073.

Despite recording club-record revenues of £617 million due to their return to the Champions League, Arsenal still posted an overall loss of £17.7 million last season. A significant rise in wage costs—from £235 million to £328 million—was a major factor in the financial shortfall.

League-Only Pass Could Appease Fans

There is some encouraging news for Arsenal supporters, as the club is planning to introduce a 19-game season ticket that grants access only to Premier League matches.

According to Telegraph Sport, this new ticket option will effectively reduce costs by approximately £400 per season compared to the current pricing structure.

Earlier this year, the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust urged the club to implement a 19-game season ticket, advocating for its introduction ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. This move appears to be a direct response to those calls, potentially providing a more affordable option for fans who primarily attend league fixtures.
