Leny Yoro has insisted he is having no trouble adapting to life at Manchester United.

Leny Yoro has drawn a clear line between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo by insisting he has no issues with Manchester's notoriously dreary weather.

Yoro made the £52 million move from Ligue 1 side Lille to Manchester United in the summer. His early months at the club were disrupted by an ankle injury, limiting him to just eight appearances so far.

Since recovering, however, he has featured regularly under new manager Ruben Amorim. Alongside adjusting to life at one of the Premier League's biggest clubs, the 18-year-old is also settling into life in a new country.

Yoro has shared that he is taking English lessons to better navigate his new environment. He also emphasized that he has no problem with Manchester's infamous weather.

"Honestly, everything is going well," he told Telefoot. "I’ve got everything I need. The team is welcoming, and there are other young players, which helps. The weather is similar to the north of France, so that’s not much of a change.

"The language is coming along; I’m starting to get used to speaking properly. I understand now, because the hardest part is sometimes understanding what they’re saying with the accent, but it’s going well."

Yoro’s comments stand in stark contrast to Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-documented dislike of the British rain. In 2006, the Portuguese legend openly admitted that the poor weather was making life in England difficult.

"I like to play for Manchester - better than [I like] the weather," Ronaldo told Sky Sports News at the time. "The weather is very difficult for me because you see snow, every time, and rain.

"It's difficult compared to Portugal, where you see sun every day, which is why it's difficult for me. But the club is massive and I'm very happy for staying here."

Yoro made his United debut in the defeat to title-chasing Arsenal last month. Ahead of the match, manager Ruben Amorim made it clear that the young defender had impressed him.

"He is a special talent, we have to be careful in the first moment. We didn't have too many training [sessions] together. He has been training with a small group of players. He is really fast, a modern defender," he said.

"He will be good when we want to press high and you leave a lot of strikers in this league one against one, he can manage that. He is very good with the ball so I am very excited. We have to be careful, we have to manage the load and minute in the beginning but I am really excited to see Leny Yoro playing."
