Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, with the Bundesliga club open to offers for the highly rated youngster. The 20-year-old has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, and the Gunners are reportedly among the clubs showing strong interest, alongside Chelsea and Newcastle.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl addressed the player’s future, confirming growing interest in the Englishman. Speaking to Sport1, Kehl said: “There’s definitely a market for him. He’s a very exciting player. We’ll be having discussions soon. If offers come in, we’ll have to deal with them.”

Bynoe-Gittens has impressed this season, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists across all competitions. He remains under contract until 2027 after joining Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020.

The winger may not be the only potential departure this summer, with the futures of Giovanni Reyna, Niklas Süle, Salih Özcan, and Julian Brandt also uncertain. Kehl has suggested the club is looking to trim its wage bill in the upcoming transfer window.

“We want to reduce wages,” he added. “That said, it’s possible we’ll continue with some of these players. But some may no longer be part of the BVB squad next season.”

Away from Gittens, Arsenal are also exploring options to strengthen their attack, with Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyökeres emerging as a key target. Reports in Portugal have even suggested that a deal for the Swedish forward is already in place — though Gyökeres himself remained coy when asked about his future.

Speaking after a recent match, he said: “It’s football, I’m still here. I don’t know what’s going to happen. Nobody can predict the future. I’m very happy — it was a game that went well for us. Very happy to score and win.

"It's what we wanted. Incredible. We can see the support we've had. So many people in the streets, not just today, but even when it's raining in November and December. It's incredible when there are so many people. Now we want to celebrate together."
