Kevin de Bruyne and Pep Guardiola have together secured 17 major trophies at Manchester City.

Kevin de Bruyne has been linked with a summer move to Saudi Arabia, with a year remaining on his Manchester City contract. He had hinted last month that he might consider an offer from the Saudi Pro-League due to the "incredible money" on offer.

However, Pep Guardiola has reassured fans, stating, "Kevin isn’t leaving," ahead of City's pre-season match against Celtic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

De Bruyne was instrumental in helping City secure the Premier League title last season, their fourth consecutive championship and his sixth overall with the club.

There have been rumors linking Crystal Palace’s England Euro 2024 squad member Eberechi Eze with a move to City, and Brazil goalkeeper Ederson has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia. Nonetheless, Guardiola believes it is more likely the squad will remain unchanged from last season.

He noted, "If someone leaves, we will discuss it, and, of course, until the last day of the transfer window, there is always a chance for changes. I don’t rule out new players, but I think there is an 85, 90, or even 95% chance we will have the same squad."

City's Premier League title defense kicks off at Chelsea on August 18.
