What are the transfer targets of Atletico Madrid in the winter transfer window?

Finding the player to replace Joao Felix

Due to his inability to consistently display his immense talent under manager Diego Simeone, Joao Felix is rumored to be available for transfer next month, sparking speculation about a possible move to England.

David De Gea

The Turkish international's contract expires in the summer, and Los Rojiblancos are slowly but surely completing a Bosman transfer. According to the most recent sources from MARCA, Atletico Madrid will attempt to contact Leicester City to discuss a move for the defender during the forthcoming January transfer window.

Since his summer 2018 transfer from SC Freiburg, Soyuncu has been a member of Leicester City. The Premier League team has used the 26-year-old in 125 games, but this season, he has lost favor and is likely headed for the exit.

Atletico Madrid is searching for defensive reinforcements because their defense hasn't been reliable enough.

While Felipe and Mario Hermoso have been significant liabilities, Jose Maria Gimenez and Stefan Savic have struggled with their physical fitness. The last two can be sold, and the Rojiblancos are willing to take offers for them in January.
