Despite being targeted by DDoS attacks, the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) has shown remarkable resilience and determination as it advances to the next phase of the competition, the LCK Spring 2024 playoffs.

Over a period of nine weeks, from January to March, teams competed fiercely, showcasing the highest level of professional Korean league play. One team that has stood out is Gen.G, who have secured the first seed in the playoffs. With an outstanding match score of 17-1, they have maintained an impressive level of performance throughout the split, with their only loss coming against KT Rolster in the fourth week.

Gen.G's dominance in the league has made them a formidable force and a top contender for the LCK Spring 2024 championship. As the playoffs approach, fans eagerly anticipate the intense competition that lies ahead and the thrilling matches that will determine the ultimate victor.

In the LCK Spring 2024 split, the competition consists of 10 franchised esports organizations vying for victory. However, only the top six teams will qualify for the playoffs, with their placement determining the round they are seeded into.

The Spring 2024 playoffs adopt a double-elimination bracket format, where teams compete in best-of-five matches to advance. The playoffs bring intense excitement and high stakes as teams battle it out for the title. Additionally, a total prize pool of US$280,000 is being distributed among the qualified playoff teams, providing an additional incentive for success.

The ultimate goal for LCK teams in the Spring 2024 playoffs is to become the champion. The winning team, along with the runner-up, will have the honor of representing the Korean region at MSI 2024 (Mid-Season Invitational). MSI is an international tournament where the top teams from various regions compete, showcasing their skills and representing their respective regions on the global stage.
