Arsenal transfer headlines

Despite Manchester City entering the contest to get him, Declan Rice has his heart set on a transfer to Arsenal (Daily Express).

Declan Rice is apparently the subject of a new £100 million offer from Arsenal after West Ham turned down an earlier offer of £90 million plus add-ons (The Sun).

After an initial offer from Arsenal was turned down, the competition to sign Declan Rice has heated up, with reports claiming that two more "top clubs" are anticipated to make bids for the midfielder within the next 24 hours (The Telegraph).

After having their first bid for Declan Rice rejected, Arsenal will try again. Meanwhile, they have given up on Moises Caicedo, which puts Chelsea in a great position to acquire the Brighton star (The Times).

Inter Milan chasing Arsenal's Balogun

Folarin Balogun, a striker for Arsenal, is coveted by Inter Milan. They are anticipated to approach Arsenal in writing over a prospective transaction. It's believed that Balogun wants to permanently leave the club in order to play frequently for the first team. Balogun scored 21 League goals while on loan at Reims last season.

Bellingham passes the first test on Real unveiling

Jude Bellingham will shine at Real Madrid if he performs on the pitch in the same manner as he did during his press conference for his unveiling.

Bellingham appeared professional. He was given his new No. 5 shirt, and even though his parents were extremely delighted, they appeared anxious. He was dressed smartly in a black suit and tie. Bellingham exuded confidence and seemed to be enjoying the moment.

The local press was out in full force to welcome Bellingham, and what impressed the gathering media was his confidant, at ease, and assured speaking manner.

Real Madrid executives were to Bellingham's left. When they brought him into the room, it was obvious that they were a little on edge and tense, but after less than two minutes, one of them leaned up against the wall and let out a sigh of relief and simply smiled because Bellingham had the room in the palm of his hands.

Man City remains locked in Gundogan talks

Ilkay Gundogan and Manchester City are still in contract negotiations, although it's thought that the length of the agreement being offered is now the sticking point. On July 1, Gundogan is scheduled to become a free agent. It is believed that City has given him a one-year contract with the possibility of a second year.

The 32-year-old is willing to continue playing for City after their triple victory, but stability is a component that is becoming more crucial for a player his age and is something that a lengthier deal offers.

Additionally, it is believed that other teams are prepared to provide him with longer-term contracts. According to a previous report from Sky Sports News, Barcelona and Arsenal are both considering signing Gundogan.

The future of Gundogan will be a key factor in City's summer transfer strategy and might influence their decision to pursue Declan Rice. City is monitoring Rice's status in light of West Ham's rejection of an initial offer from Arsenal.

Garcia appointed Napoli boss

As Napoli's next manager, Rudi Garcia has been chosen. After guiding Napoli to their first scudetto championship since 1990, Luciano Spalletti left the Serie A team at the conclusion of the previous campaign. The new manager has been named Garcia. The 59-year-old Frenchman most recently served as Al Nassr's manager in Saudi Arabia, but he quit the organization in April 2023. He has previously had managerial positions with Lille, Marseille, and Lyon in France, and he also spent three years with Roma.

Romeo Beckham extends Brentford stay

Romeo Beckham will continue to play for Brentford's B squad for one additional year. The 20-year-old has consented to sign a permanent one-year contract with them from Inter Miami. It is anticipated that the Bees will make a little payment. In January, Beckham signed a six-month loan with the Bees, and he helped them win the Premier League Cup. After the season ended, he was recently spotted in Los Angeles, and he is anticipated to rejoin Brentford B for pre-season training later in the summer.
