Ramsdale had an injury when playing for England

Although haivng the good form when playing at club level, Ramsdale did not play much during the World Cup because he is still behind Jordan Pickford in the Three Lions' starting lineup.

Ramsdale did not have many opportunities to play for England team

However, for the last two weeks, he has been playing with an injury, as he admitted in a podcast.

"I’ll tell you something about those gloves; if you look at the two middle fingers, there’s no gap. I broke my knuckle at the World Cup, so I’ve had to play since the World Cup with gloves like that."  he said.

Although photos obtained after the win over Manchester United last Sunday indicate he's still wearing heavy strapping on his right hand, the goalie doesn't appear overly concerned by the situation. He reportedly had to make amends for the gloves he wears during a game.

Aaron Ramsdale’s form at Arsenal

Since league football resumed, Aaron Ramsdale has been among Arsenal's top players, and his outstanding play has contributed to the Gunners' continued success.

Currently, Ramsdale is the best goalkeeper of Arsenal

Ramsdale has remained a constant for the Gunners despite his knuckle problem. Ramsdale has maintained two clean sheets in five games since play restarted, and the Premier League has nominated him for the save of the month award for January after his amazing stop to deny Ryan Sessegnon in the north London derby. Coach Mikel Arteta also had complete faith in him.

After the Brazilian striker had to have knee surgery to correct a problem he picked up during the World Cup, there were worries that his absence could hurt Arsenal's title hopes. However, the excellence of Ramsdale helped football fans decrease their worries.

Arsenal’s opinion about Aaron Ramsdale

Ramsdale is still an important player for Arsenal, and since football has resumed, the goaltender has given the team some outstanding performances.

The fact that the former Bournemouth player kept playing and doing well while being injured demonstrates his mentality and how dedicated he is to continuing to represent the team.

This is one of the many reasons his supporters adore him and will stick by him whenever he appears in our red-and-white strip.
