Lewandowski comments on PSG and Man City players in Mbappe vs. Haaland

Robert Lewandowski, a striker for Barcelona, has given his opinion on Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain. It is expected that Mbappe and Haaland will become the next significant rivalry in football, emulating the legendary rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The two attackers have already proven that they are football players of a generation.
But Lewandowski has since spoken out about Mbappe and Haaland, predicting that they will both go on to become greats in the years to come and mentioning that they are both incredibly quick. According to L'Equipe, the Poland international said: "I'm not convinced Kylian Mbappé is a true number nine.
Lewandowski has since spoken out about Mbappe and Haaland, predicting that they will both become greats
"Yes, he is an attacking player and a striker. They are amazing with Erling Haaland.” "They have speed, and they are incredibly swift. They are already at this level despite being extremely young for this reason. Although the route is incredibly lengthy, they give it their all today.”
Lionel Messi has just demonstrated that he is the uncontested GOAT thanks to Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe
Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe both had outstanding years in 2018. Mbappe, who led PSG to the French championship last season and was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year, shone at the World Cup in Qatar and took home the Golden Boot. Haaland, on the other hand, has embraced his transfer to the Premier League, scoring 24 goals before the new year, including three hat-tricks in the league thus far.
As the two leading Ballon d'Or candidates of the upcoming decade, the two are ready to succeed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Some would say that Mbappe and Haaland had already ascended to the joint throne if it weren't for Messi's revival this season, following a dismal year by his standards last term.
Messi, though, never ceases to amaze, even at the age of 35
Messi, though, never ceases to amaze, even at the age of 35. The World Cup Golden Ball winner lit up Qatar with seven goals and three assists in seven games as if his season-high 12 goals and 14 assists in 19 PSG games weren't enough. The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) discussion with Ronaldo appears to be effectively ended now that he has the most recognizable team prize in sports on his resume.
Additionally, Mbappe and Haaland have now added another underline in favor of Messi. A combined 77 goals and 22 assists have been scored by the duo in 75 club appearances for PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and Manchester City in 2022.
Ronaldo vs. Messi: Erling weighs in on the greatest of all time
Erling Haaland, a star for Manchester City, gave his honest perspective on the competition between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He also denied the claim that he and Kylian Mbappe, the standout forward for Paris Saint-Germain, will succeed Messi and Ronaldo.
Ronaldo vs. Messi: Erling weighs in on the greatest of all time
The question of whether Ronaldo and Messi, two of the greatest footballers of all time, will be followed by Haaland and Mbappe has generated discussion. The competition between Ronaldo and Messi has lasted more than ten years, but they are now nearing the end of their illustrious careers.
Haaland said to Viaplay, "I think the media has been doing that with Ronaldo and Messi for the last 10 years, and I think they've been pushing each other as well. "I believe it has been beneficial. Madrid and Barcelona go up against one another. The rivalry has been ideal. However, I honestly don't think about this competition between him and Mbappe."
The 2023 Ballon d'Or nominees are announced by Ronaldinho
Argentina's captain Lionel Messi has been selected by Brazilian icon Ronaldinho as the winner of the 2023 Ballon d'Or. On December 18, Messi lifted this year's World Cup, marking the pinnacle of his professional football career. In a penalty shootout, Argentina beat France at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
The 2023 Ballon d'Or nominees are announced by Ronaldinho
Messi scored twice in the final five minutes of regulation, and Ronaldinho thinks it merits his taking home the 2023 Ballon d'Or. Ronaldinho told SDA: "I think Messi will win the Ballon d'Or because he [Lionel Messi] managed to score two goals in the final and win his first World Cup.
"This will further cement your place in history. Yes, Messi and Mbappe are both outstanding athletes, he continued. They have more than met the high standards set for them; they have once more shown that they are exceptional players. They added to this championship with their extraordinary talent.”
