Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, left a post-match interview with Scandinavian TV after the dramatic FA Cup clash against Manchester United. Liverpool suffered a 4-3 defeat in extra time, with Amad Diallo scoring a decisive winner in the 121st minute to complete United's remarkable comeback. Klopp's team had held leads of 2-1 and 3-2 during the match. Following the game, which ended Liverpool's hopes of achieving a quadruple in Klopp's final season, the German manager took offense at a question from a reporter from Norwegian outlet V Sport and chose to walk off.

After being asked about his side's intensity dropping in extra time, Klopp fumed: 'That's a bit of a dumb question.

'If you see us often, you can ask us the other times why we have so much energy.

'I don't know how many games we've had recently and how many Manchester United have had. That's sport.

'I'm really disappointed about that question, but you thought obviously it's good.'

The reporter then provoked Klopp further by suggesting, "So too many games?" This infuriated Klopp, who sharply replied, "Oh, you don't think that. Come on! You are obviously not in a great shape and I have no nerves for you." He walked past the reporter, ending the interview abruptly.

Despite appearing to be in control at Old Trafford, Liverpool's victory hopes were dashed as they conceded a late equalizer from Antony, forcing the game into extra time. Harvey Elliott's deflected goal put Liverpool back in the lead, but Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo staged a remarkable comeback to secure victory for United.

In his subsequent press conference, Klopp expressed frustration over his team's inability to close out the game. He acknowledged that leaving the door open for United at Old Trafford would inevitably result in chances for the opposition. Klopp also admitted that it was a challenging match for his team and the first time he had seen them struggle in such a manner. He reflected on the contrasting emotions of watching a game while winning versus losing, describing the latter as the worst feeling.

When questioned about the potential fatigue in his squad ahead of the upcoming international break, Klopp expressed his hope that the national team managers would prioritize the well-being of his players. He stated, "I hope the (international managers) want them in the best shape for the summer. So I hope they won't have to play two lots of 90 minutes. But it's not in my hands."

Liverpool will resume their action on March 31st with an away match against Brighton. Currently sitting in second place in the Premier League, just behind Arsenal on goal difference, Klopp's side will be looking to bounce back and continue their pursuit of the title.
