Pulisic must immediately leave the Chelsea circus!

Christian Pulisic MUST LEAVE CHELSEA IMMEDIATELY! USMNT star's career is only being harmed by the Stamford Bridge circus. The Blues may want to offload the winger this summer to generate cash.

For several months, rumors in the tabloids have suggested that Chelsea may be ready to part ways with Christian Pulisic. Following Chelsea's significant spending spree over the last year, reports have emerged from various sources, with the American player often being singled out as one of several players the club might sell to raise some necessary funds.

If Chelsea were to let him go, however, it could turn out to be a positive move for the US national team star.

Based on recent events at Chelsea, Pulisic appears to be the one who could benefit the most from ending his partnership with the club. Although he has experienced unprecedented success since joining the Blues, having played and won a Champions League final, scored against Real Madrid in a European semi-final, grown as a player, and played a leading role for his country in a World Cup, he has also witnessed the club's frequent instability.

Roman Abramovich's forced departure was expected to bring an end to this instability, but things have only become more turbulent at Stamford Bridge. The sacking of Graham Potter, who spent less than seven months in charge, highlights how much work Chelsea still needs to do. Another managerial change, a reset, and another rebuild are all imminent.

Given the current situation at Chelsea under Todd Boehly, it's probably time for Pulisic to stop fighting a losing battle and move on to a club where the environment can be just a bit more stable than what is currently happening at Stamford Bridge.

A productive, though occasionally difficult, spell

Despite the negative perception of Pulisic's tenure at Chelsea, the reality is that it has been largely successful. Pulisic has achieved unprecedented heights for an American player with the Blues since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2019, featuring in 140 matches and scoring 26 goals. At the young age of 21, he became the youngest Chelsea player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League, and his remarkable goal in the semi-finals against Real Madrid was instrumental in Chelsea's triumph in the 2020-21 Champions League.

In addition, the Blues have won the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup, and have reached four domestic finals since Pulisic's arrival, although all four resulted in losses. Despite intermittent appearances in the lineup, Pulisic has been a regular performer for Chelsea. He has also excelled at the international level, aiding the U.S. men's national team in bouncing back from their disappointments during the 2018 cycle and scoring a crucial goal against Iran to lead the U.S. into the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup.

However, Pulisic has encountered significant misfortune with injuries at critical moments in his Chelsea career. Furthermore, the Chelsea boardroom's decisions have sometimes seemed to come at the most inopportune times for the American star.

Chelsea's revolving door

As you reflect on it, things didn't start well. Maurizio Sarri signed Pulisic in January 2019, but he finished the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund before joining Chelsea in the summer. Unfortunately, by the time Pulisic arrived at Chelsea, Sarri had been replaced by Frank Lampard.

Lampard later gave way to Thomas Tuchel, who eventually made room for Graham Potter. This means that Pulisic has had to deal with four different managers in as many years, each of whom presented their own set of challenges.

Under Potter, Pulisic only played 13 games

Sarri never even had the opportunity to manage Pulisic, so he's not much of a factor. Lampard, on the other hand, was initially unimpressed, with Jesse Marsch suggesting that Lampard's reservations had to do with Pulisic's nationality.

However, Lampard did eventually warm up to Pulisic, who had his best season at Chelsea under the ex-midfielder's leadership. Unfortunately, Lampard was replaced by Tuchel just as Pulisic was getting started.

Tuchel, who had previously coached Pulisic at Borussia Dortmund, led Chelsea to new heights, including a Champions League win. Nonetheless, Pulisic never quite found his footing under Tuchel's management. He was often left on the sidelines and asked to play in unfamiliar positions.

Under Potter, Pulisic only played 13 games, as an injury suffered in January against Manchester City limited his participation. He returned in March, seemingly ready to contribute, but by April 2nd, Potter was also gone.

And now, Pulisic finds himself starting anew, with yet another manager to impress, in a seemingly never-ending cycle.

How many new signings?!?

The instability at Chelsea extends beyond just the managerial situation and has affected the entire team. Since Boehly's arrival, the club has been playing with an unlimited budget, spending £600 million ($750m) on the player after player, adding to an already overcrowded squad. As an example, here's a list of forwards currently competing for just three spots: Joao Felix, Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, David Datro Fofana, and Noni Madueke. This situation is simply unsustainable.

Since Boehly's arrival, the club has been playing with an unlimited budget

The current state of affairs at Chelsea is not healthy, with too many players competing for to few positions. Talented players like Pulisic deserve more playing time, but with so many options, it's hard for them to get the opportunity they deserve. While squad depth and competition are essential, the current situation at Chelsea is tipping toward insanity.

Fighting a losing battle

Repeatedly going through this experience is not normal, nor is competing with such a large number of players at once. Chelsea's commitment to their new acquisitions is evident, even if Felix's loan from Atletico Madrid does not become permanent. The club is in the process of rebuilding, reshaping, and retooling, which means that Pulisic's position is far from secure.

Pulisic would not be the first player to leave Chelsea's tumultuous environment

Starting over under a new manager would be one thing if Pulisic were a regular starter. However, with the uncertainty of who Chelsea will bring in, it is unlikely that they will be able to help Pulisic in any significant way. This is an uphill battle that is unlikely to be won. There are too many obstacles and too much chaos. A player's career is too short to have to constantly start over.

While there is something to be said for players who persevere and prove themselves, Pulisic would not be the first player to leave Chelsea's tumultuous environment and find success elsewhere, following in the footsteps of Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, and Fikayo Tomori.

What next?

There have been rumors for several months that Christian Pulisic's time at Chelsea is drawing to a close, and it seems that many clubs are interested in signing him. Despite his contract not expiring until the following season, the American star has been linked to several top teams, including Premier League powerhouses Manchester United and Italian giants Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter. Given the instability at Chelsea, the fact that these clubs are showing interest is noteworthy.

There are also options for Pulisic to join a team that is currently on the rise, such as Newcastle or, if they avoid relegation, Leeds United. Alternatively, he could return to Germany, where he became a star at Dortmund.

It is uncertain where he will end up, but it is likely that wherever he goes, it will be better for him than where he is now. At 24, Pulisic is about to reach his prime, and it seems that joining a new team gives him the greatest opportunity to achieve his remarkable potential.
