BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr
On the evening of December 30, Al Arabiya published an article with the title "Al Nassr officially recruits Ronaldo till the summer of 2025." The deal between the two parties has been signed and is soon to be made public, the Saudi newspaper continued.
The same information was also published at the same time by the American daily CBS Sports, which cited a reliable source at Al Nassr. Ronaldo is qualified to sign the deal because his medical evaluation is nearly complete. Next week, we'll finish the test's remaining portions.
Ronaldo will continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
The deal is anticipated to be disclosed by Al Nassr following their play against Al Khaleej on December 31 in the evening. The club has made all necessary preparations to welcome Ronaldo, including finding him and his family a home in the posh neighborhood of Al Muhammadiyah, close to the team's training facility in Riyadh.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, also confirmed: "Al Nassr Club has almost completed an agreement to recruit Ronaldo. Final negotiations are underway. Ronaldo's contract with the Saudi Arabia club is valid until June 2025, with a salary of nearly 200 million euros per year, with commercial agreements attached.
The information revealed by Fabrizio Romano concerning Cristiano Ronaldo's pay closely matches recent reports from several major newspapers across the world. In actuality, CR7's annual compensation at Al Nassr will be $75 million USD (70 million euros). That amount increases to 200 million USD (186 million euros) year when the incentive, promotion, and trade agreement are included.
Ronaldo will become the highest-paid player of all time at Al Nassr.
Thus, CR7 will become the highest-paid player of all time if he joins Al Nassr club. After finishing a 2.5-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club, CR7 will, according to the Arab press, represent this nation as a sports ambassador in the competition to host the 2030 World Cup. The trio of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Greece is now one of the brightest candidates.
According to CBS Sports, the Portuguese striker still wants to continue playing in Europe but he has not received any offers in recent times. Therefore, CR7 was forced to choose to go to Saudi Arabia. At the very least, this place can provide him with financial satisfaction. The Goal emphasized: "So the peak of Cristinao Ronaldo’s football career has ended."
Ronaldo is expected to have the right to choose a coach for the team when Rudi Garcia is leading Al Nassr. They are second in the Saudi Arabian Championship (Pro League), with 23 points from 10 matches. To qualify for the AFC Champions League in 2023-2024, Al Nassr must win the Pro League or the King Cup this season.
Al Nassr is one of the most successful clubs in the West Asian country, with 9 domestic championships. In particular, the last time they won the Saudi Pro League was in the 2018–19 season. The team is now playing at Mrsool Park which has a capacity of 25,000 seats, the sixth-most in the league. They have never won the AFC Champions League, with their best finish coming in second place in 1995.
The current coach of Al Nassr is Rudi Garcia, who has worked in Europe for many years at clubs such as Lille, AS Roma, and Marseille. In addition, Al Nassr has a few stars who have played in Europe, such as Vincent Aboubakar, Luiz Gustavo, David Ospina, or Anderson Talisca.
