Big Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, have set their sights on Pedro Neto, the in-form 23-year-old forward from Wolves. However, securing Neto's services will come at a substantial cost, with Wolves demanding a club-record fee of over £60 million. Neto's recent scintillating displays against Manchester United and Chelsea have further fueled the interest from top clubs in the Premier League.

Pedro Neto's impressive performances have caught the attention of not only Arsenal but also Tottenham and Liverpool. Wolves, aware of Neto's rising value and his significance to the team, are demanding a fee surpassing the £53 million they received from Manchester City for Matheus Nunes last summer.

Wolves' astute player trading has resulted in a profit of well over £100 million this season, positioning them favorably within the Premier League's profit and sustainability regulations. Adding to their leverage, Neto still has three years remaining on his contract, making him an attractive long-term prospect.

The Portugal international has returned to peak form, contributing three goals and eight assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this season. His impressive performances have showcased his immense talent and further fueled the interest from top Premier League clubs.

Despite enduring a lengthy absence due to a significant knee injury from April 2021 to February 2022, Pedro Neto has demonstrated immense resilience by overcoming subsequent minor setbacks to his ankle and hamstring. Now fully recovered, Neto appears poised to take the next step in his career and attract interest from elite clubs, potentially sparking a bidding war for his services.

Mikel Arteta, who has long admired Neto, is expected to strengthen Arsenal's attacking options this summer. Despite a convincing 6-0 away win against West Ham, Arsenal recognizes the need to bolster their forward line. While the victory improved their goal difference, they still find themselves outscored by title contenders Manchester City and Liverpool.

Between December 6 and January 7, Arsenal struggled to find the back of the net consistently, averaging less than one goal per game. This dip in scoring hindered their pursuit of winning the Premier League, a feat they last achieved in 2004. Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is also amongst the admirers of Pedro Neto, as he contemplates the addition of another forward during the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, any potential signing for Tottenham would need to possess the necessary qualities to thrive in Postecoglou's high-energy style of play. The manager's preference for a dynamic and intense brand of football requires players who can adapt to and excel in his system.

Whether or not Tottenham pursues a move for Neto may depend on their decision to exercise their £15 million option to purchase Timo Werner, who is currently on loan from RB Leipzig. The outcome of this decision could impact Spurs' transfer plans and their pursuit of Neto.
