Germany become first team to qualify for FIFA World Cup-Qatar 2022

North Macedonia 0-4 Germany
Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and young star Jamal Musiala took turns scoring to help Germany to complete their perfect victory right at the host’s Toshe Proeski Arena stadium.
6 months ago, Germany lost 1-2 in shock to North Macedonia at home, breaking a 35-match unbeaten run in qualifying for World Cups in the past 20 years. Yesterday, Die Mannschaft were back when they crushed North Macedonia 4-0, remaining a winning streak of all 5 games under Hansi Flick to become the first team to win a spot in the 2022 World Cup. This is also the 20th World Cup that Germany join. Their achievement is only behind Brazil with 21 times.
After 8 matches, Germany reached 21 points, 8 points ahead of the second team Romania and stay the top of Group J two games earlier. Next, they will face Armenia and Liechtenstein.
Germany qualify for 2022 World Cup
Despite having to be a guest team at Toshe Proeski Arena, the German national team played impressively and dominated the game in every way. The 2014 World Cup champions held the ball 70% of the time, finishing 14 times in the first half but they could not celebrate any goal. The team became hungrier in the second half and good chances were made. Getting a perfect pass from Thomas Muller, Kai Havertz scored the first goal for Germany in the 50th minute.
After Havertz’s goal, Germany played more comfortably. They even had 2 more goals only around 3 minutes (70’ and 73’) thanks to Timo Werner’s hits from Muller and Wirtz’s assists.
Thomas Muller assisted 2 goals for Germany against North Macedonia
Germany’s goal party at Toshe Proeski Arena ended in the 83rd minute. Jamal Musiala, who was introduced to replace Werner, immediately marked his appearance with a beautiful goal from Gnabry’s cross. Musiala became the second-highest player to score for Germany at the age of 18 years and 227 days that was just behind Marius Hiller with his goal in 1910 against Switzerland.

Who else has already qualified for the 2022 World Cup?
Apart from Germany and other national teams who are still fighting to get spots in the anticipated 2022 World Cup, there is a side to be available. They are Qatar national team- the hosts.
According to the World Cup regulation, the host nation has an automatic passage through to the finals. They often spend the qualification round playing a spate of friendlies. This is their first appearance in the worldwide tournament because they have never qualified for the finals in the history of the World Cup.
The last teams joining the 2022 Qatar World Cup will officially be confirmed by the end of this November.
