Heroic Nanny Rescues Harry Kane's Children in 3-Car Accident

A British nanny received praise recently for her heroic actions in rescuing the children of football star Harry Kane from a three-car collision.

A young driver in a Renault abruptly cut across the path of their people carrier to make a turn at a junction, causing a collision with its front and sending both vehicles spinning towards an oncoming Land Rover Defender. Despite the activation of its airbags, the nanny remained composed and brought the £100,000 Mercedes to a halt, skillfully avoiding the out-of-control Renault and preventing a collision with the 4x4. The quick-witted nanny, aged 24, was understandably left shaken by the incident.

England and Bayern Munich star Harry Kane's daughters Ivy, aged seven, and Vivienne, aged five, along with his eldest son Louis, aged three, were taken to a hospital in Germany as a precaution but were found to be uninjured.

A source told The Sun: "The Kane's nanny displayed remarkable courage in safeguarding the children."

“None of this is her fault. She might be on German roads, but she had right-of-way. It was the German driver who cut across her path and smashed into her.

“She would only have had milliseconds to react.

“You can see from the pictures it was a serious smash, but the Kane children would have felt nothing other than a bang. She really has averted disaster.”

The accident occurred near Schaftlarn, south of Munich, at 5:15 pm on Monday — roughly the same time Kane and his team-mates arrived in London before their 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Kane went on to play and score in Tuesday night’s Champions League game.

Local fire chief Daniel Buck reported that the family’s people carrier sustained significant damage.

He added: “The good news was nobody sustained serious injuries, mostly minor injuries typical for a car accident. Thank goodness nobody was seriously hurt. It was incredibly fortunate for everyone involved.”

The Renault driver, a 20-year-old woman, may face a fine as low as £150.

While she could have been charged with “negligent assault” and faced up to three years in prison if anyone had been injured, authorities are reportedly treating the incident as a "lucky escape" and an accident.
