Manchester United star Antony has been photographed leaving a police station following an extensive five-hour interrogation concerning allegations made by his former partner, Gabriela Cavallin, that he assaulted her.

The 23-year-old reportedly willingly visited the police station to address the accusations, shortly after arriving in Manchester from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Antony is expected to refute the claims of assault against his ex-girlfriend Gabriela, which allegedly resulted in injuries including a sliced finger and head wound.

The winger returned to the UK on Monday to face police over his ex's allegations

Reportedly, Antony intends to cooperate fully with the police investigation by surrendering his phone to assist with inquiries.

Antony was observed departing his residence in Hale Barns, previously owned by Paul Pogba, shortly before 4 pm. His current partner, Rosilene Silva, also left the property shortly before him.

Later in the evening, at approximately 9:30 pm, Antony was seen exiting the police station.

The footballer had previously voluntarily submitted to an interview with Brazilian police in June and was permitted to return to the UK after collaborating with authorities in Sao Paulo.

He arrived at the police at around 4pm on Thursday

Gabriela, 22, has leveled accusations against the £85 million winger, alleging multiple instances of assault during their relationship. She claims that the initial attack occurred in June of the previous year while she was pregnant and vacationing in Brazil.

The model and DJ asserts that Antony subsequently headbutted and punched her, leading to damage to a breast implant, during an incident at a hotel in Manchester on January 15.

She also alleges that he threw a glass at her in May, resulting in a finger injury. Two other women have made similar allegations against the footballer.

Antony has been granted an indefinite leave of absence from Manchester United in light of the serious allegations. The club initially announced on September 10 that he would be given time away from the team while receiving full pay to focus on clearing his name.

This process will continue, meaning the 23-year-old will not be available for upcoming matches under Erik ten Hag's management.

A source stated, "Antony is steadfast in his belief that he is innocent and is eager to sit down with the officers and address their inquiries. He has nothing to hide and is willing to provide any requested information, including his mobile phone."

"He wishes to be exonerated as swiftly as possible so that he can resume his football career without any distractions."

In an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, Gabriela led the call for the £150,000-per-week star to be dropped from the squad.

Antony has consistently denied any wrongdoing, offering a tearful television interview in which he affirmed, "I know the truth, and it will emerge. I am 100 percent certain that I never harmed a woman, and I will provide evidence. I am confident that I have never engaged in physical violence.
