The nominations for this year's Ballon d'Or have been announced, featuring plenty of familiar faces, but also a few potential surprises that could shake things up.

Ballon d'Or 2024 Shortlist Revealed: Jude Bellingham and Premier League Stars Included — *The 2024 Ballon d'Or awards are set to take place later this year.*

Jude Bellingham is among the contenders for the top honor at next month's Ballon d'Or ceremony following a standout year for both club and country.

The Real Madrid star, who secured La Liga and Champions League titles before leading England to the Euro 2024 final, headlines the nominees for the men’s award.

Several Premier League players also feature on the 30-man shortlist, including Manchester City’s Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, and Rodri. Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard are also in the mix, while Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez is nominated for both the main award and the goalkeeper prize.

Manchester City are also up for the men’s club of the year award, having claimed their fifth consecutive Premier League title. They’ll compete against Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Girona, and Bayer Leverkusen.

On the women’s side, Lauren James, Lauren Hemp, Lucy Bronze, and Khadija Shaw have all made the shortlist for the women’s award.

Additionally, Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are nominated for the Kopa Trophy, alongside Euro 2024 champion Lamine Yamal.
