Vincent Kompany is reported to have reached a preliminary agreement to become the next manager of Bayern Munich.

Bayern failed to secure the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2012, while Kompany's reputation, previously linked with Tottenham and Chelsea last year, took a hit following Burnley's 19th-placed finish.
